Training Opportunities Offered by MPFC

NEWS:
The 9th Annual Workshop is scheduled
for Friday, September 5 and Saturday, September 6,
2008. Click here for

- Friday (September 5) sessions will be technical and
geared toward professional fire personnel. It will be
held at the Library of Michigan at the Michigan
Historical Center in downtown Lansing.
- Saturday (September 6) will be a half-day field trip
to learn about prescribed burning. It will be held at
Lincoln Brick Park (Eaton County Parks) (about 30
minutes from Lansing).
- The Fire Council is planning a Fire Academy. Possible
course offerings: S-200 (Initial Attack Incident Commander),
S-230 (Crew Boss) and S-231 (Engine Boss).
