Join partners from across the region for up to 10 days of hands-on fire experience, collaborative learning, and skill-building during Michigan’s 2025 Prescribed Burn Week.

This event is not a TREX, but will offer a flexible structure led by a rotating leadership team from partner organizations. Expect a mix of live fire operations, training opportunities (like S-211 and burn plan writing), simulations, and at least one public-facing Learn and Burn.

Whether you're seeking task book experience, exposure to fire for the first time, or a chance to support others in the field, there will be something for everyone—including shadow roles for non-FFT2s where appropriate.

On-site lodging options will be available—participants are encouraged to stay on post.

Agency standards will be respected; liability remains with home organizations.

Strong preference given to those who can commit for multiple days.
