This training is a combination of supplemental classroom sessions and required field exercises in order to complete FFT2 Training and receive NWCG certificates. Registration fee includes training, materials, and meals. This 2-day capstone training to the online courses will be run like an overnight wildfire incident. Please download the “Basic Firefighter (FFT2) Training Information” from the link below. The online modules can be completed anytime. Make sure you print and save the certificates at the end of each unit.
This annual wildland fire workshop is designed to enable land managers, researchers, resource specialists, and fire practitioners an opportunity to hear and learn from different areas of expertise in a format which will help us to identify gaps in knowledge and communication, and work toward solutions to issues that complicate our collective wildland fire work.

This one-day workshop has been designed to provide hands-on experience with new, easy-to-use, online tools, and is designed for anybody working in wildland fire – a good introductory workshop for those who have not had much smoke modeling and management exposure, or as an excellent refresher for those who have had another smoke course.
