Wildlife Biologist, Michigan DNR
Dennis Tison is a Wildlife Biologist with the Michigan Department of Natural Resources Wildlife Division where he has served since 2016 leading wildlife across multiple counties in southeastern Michigan. His work includes developing science-based management plans, overseeing wildlife population and nuisance issues, coordinating disease surveillance efforts, and collaborating with landowners, agencies and conservation partners. Dennis brings 20 years of conservation experience from roles with the DNR, Lenawee Conservation District and The Nature Conservancy, with a background in habitat restoration, prescribed fire, ecosystem and wildlife management. He holds a degree in Environmental Science from Adrian College and is passionate about sharing practical, science-driven approaches to wildlife conservation with the public.
