Prescribed Fire & Fuels Technician

My name is Tommy Aikens and I work for the Michigan Agency, Bureau of Indian Affairs located in Sault Ste. Marie, MI as a Prescribed Fire & Fuels Technician. My primary job is to help the 12 federally recognized Tribes of Michigan with wildland fire and fuels management on Trust lands. I started my career in wildland fire in 2015 with the Bay Mills Indian Community, where I am also an enrolled Tribal member.
